Chinatown Alleyway Tours
Voted "Best of the Bay" by San Franciso Weekly and The Bay Guardian and featured in the New York Times, Bay Area's Backroads and more. Check out this community-based tour (that I have been fortunate to have been a part of) on the history and politics of Chinatown led by amazing youth leaders in this community. Entering its SEVENTH year.
HOMEY
I love this organization and the people who keep it going. They are true organizers and youth leaders who are making a difference. As quoted from their site: We are students, activists, youth, former drug dealers and gang members. Some of us -once were deficits of our community- who today are creating safe places where we challenge each other to think independently, think critically and strive towards freedom.. Big ups to the family- Rene, Nancy, Gus, Jose Luis and more.
Youth Speaks
A youth organization that I really look up to. It is amazing how much they have grown in just 7 years, from one desk to a national organization. Great staff- James, Bamuthi, Joan, Jason, Mush and more!
Youth Making A Change
Yes, we need better bathrooms in our public schools and they are empowering young people to fight for changes in this city.

Arts Organizations
Locus Arts
In our fifth year, we have presented well over 300 emerging and established APA artists at our performance space.
I co- founded this space with a very cool group of friends, artists and community activists. Come check out a show and see me too!
Bindlestiff
Save Bindlestiff! This organization has pumped out some of the best local actors, comedians and bands in SF. I truly believe in this arts organization. Go to their shows and then help support them so they can get their original space back.
Intersection for the Arts
My favorite community-based arts organization in the city. Amazing jazz events and loving, dedicated and talented staff. Check out Jazz at Intersection on the first Tuesdays. What a great, intimate space to really listen to dedicated musicians.
manja
Interested in what is going on in Asian American arts? Visit this site run by Gary Chou. It has everything in one stop.

Bands
The Skyflakes
My favorite Bay Area band! Sweet, indie pop with lyrics that surprise.
Scrabbel
Real, talented musicians that create GREAT music. This SF indie band came out with my top album of 2004. Also, the Bay Guardian's Top 10 bands of 2004.
Goh Nakamura
The love bard of SF. Armed with a guitar and the most charming voice, he entranced listeners almost every week in a bar in SF and now has close to a million listeners on youtube.

Friends
Eddy Zheng
Eddy Zheng is a friend that I hold immense respect for. He has served 19+ years in prison, is currently facing deportation and is currently a youth worker at Community Youth Center. A must read- from poignant stories to politics to the meal quality in prison, Eddy shows immense beauty, strength and wisdom that an individual must have to hold faith and lead others.
My Mom
My mom is an acupuncturist and chinese herbal medicine maker. She keeps me healthy with homemade chinese medicine. Check her out if you are in the NY/NJ area!
Bao Phi
Bao Wow! National Poetry Slam Individual Finalist, Def Poetry Jam Artist and true FRIEND.
Min Jung Kim
My fabulous roommate. Over 100 people comment when she blogs. And her entries get translated into 13 different languages. Can you imagine if she ever got referrals from me?
David Huang
One of two premier sites chonicling the history of the APA arts community and much more. David is a man on a mission-- an amazing photgrapher and committed to the community. He also contributed many photos to my campaign.
Jay Jao
One of two premier sites chonicling the local APA arts/community scene. Jay has a heart of gold, love k-pop and takes great photos. Jay took all my headshots and contributed the bulk of photos for my campaign. One of the most generous individuals.
Oliver Saria
NEW! Still under construction, but slowing getting updated. A few funny things in there.
Liberation Ink
Wanna look good and contribute to social justice organizing work? Check out this worker-owned apparel printing and design collective. In a span of a few months, this rad group of activists has raised over $5,000 for social justice organizations around the Bay Area. I've bought some, have you?
Samantha Chanse
I've known Samantha since first grade. Stand up comic, writer, actor, musician, yes she does it all. Not for the soft-hearted... she's sharp tongued and a true hater (of stupid people, but she loves the community).
Prisoner's Reform Organizational Partnership
PROP brings you stories from inside prison. They are stories of struggle, suffering, possibilties and love. Edited by Marc Ching, an inmate at CSP Solano- this beautiful and moving site is a MUST read for those of us on the outside.

Politics
SFist
Jackson West and Eve Batey's fun and irreverant site. Not an insider/politico site yet, that's why I like it. Plus, I like Jackson and he seems to like our couch.
Usual Suspects
Great site by Alex Clemens and crew that compiles anything of importance in local politics in SF. Always on top of the most current issues with a compiled list of all the relevant articles. This site really is "San Francisco's Political Homepage" and has everything that any politico wants to read or should be reading.
The League of Pissed Off Voters
The League is exciting, ENERGETIC and fun. They organize national voter organizing targetted at 18-35 year olds who don't think voting is exciting, energetic and fun. Lots of resources, links and news, especially on interesting local politics in other towns.
San Francisco People's Organization
I was honored to be a part of this exciting new coalition, bringing together representatives from labor and community based organizations and leaders from communities of color, LGBTQQ, women, youth and senior/disabled communities. The board ranges from ages 16 to the venerable post-65 and cuts through different neighborhoods in San Francisco.
