San Francisco Proposition I: Funding for Seniors and Adults with Disabilities Amendment

Ballot Question:

Shall the City amend the Charter to establish the Dignity Fund and set aside at least $38 million a year, plus scheduled increases, from the General Fund until June 30, 2037, to pay for programs and services to assist seniors and adults with disabilities?

A “Yes” vote means:

A yes vote is a vote in favor of amending the city charter to allocate an initial $38 million per year—with scheduled increases—until June 30, 2037, to funding services for seniors and adults with disabilities.

A “No” vote means:

A no vote is a vote against this proposition to amend the city charter, thereby leaving the city’s Department of Aging and Adult Services (DAAS) to advocate for services for the disabled.
