Jane Kim needs your help to gather signatures to put her on the June ballot!
California election law requires candidates to pay a filing fee in order to qualify for the ballot. The amount varies by jurisdiction, but nearly all of them allow candidates to offset the costs by submitting signatures from voters in the district. We need to gather all of the signatures by February 25, 2016.
Here’s what you need in order to collect signatures:
- You need to be a registered voter in the county where you are gathering signatures. If you aren’t a registered voter, you can click here to register.
- You need a packet of signature-in-lieu forms. You can download them below and print them out – they must be double sided.
- You need a pen (the forms must be filled out in pen).
Any registered voter in San Francisco County or San Mateo County who hasn’t signed a petition for any other candidate for State Senate District 11 can sign the form. So please ask, “Are you a registered voter in San Francisco County or San Mateo County?” and “Have you signed this petition for any other candidate for State Senate District 11?” before you ask people to sign.
Please mail completed forms every week to our campaign: PO Box 113, San Francisco, CA 94104.
